OUR LAW FIRM
MD LAWRENCE INCORPORATED is a Level 1 BBBEE owned law firm established by its founding director who identified a niche in the market for specialised legal services including conveyancing, antenuptial contracts, wills and deceased estate administration. The law firm consists of knowledgeable and experienced professionals and staff members who are dynamic, vibrant and innovative.
FOUNDING DIRECTOR
Melanie Daniella Lawrence is an admitted Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer of the High court of South Africa. She is the founding director of MD LAWRENCE INCORPORATED. She is a performance-driven, resilient and inspirational visionary, and is a passionate steward in her field with a proven track record of empowering clients and colleagues with her vast knowledge and years of experience.
Melanie has led large teams in banking and in the legal profession and has successfully managed relationships with major banks, corporate clients and social groups. She has built a good rapport with a number of other industry players including fiduciary consultants, financial planners, property practitioners, town planners, land surveyors and leading property developers. She is a firm believer that knowledge is power and therefore continuously endeavours to empower property practitioners, staff, clients and legal practitioners alike through consultations, thought leadership, training initiatives, and sharing her extensive insights and expertise on various platforms.
Throughout her career, Melanie has attended to various transfers of immovable property, bond cancellations and bond registrations on behalf of ABSA, Standard Bank, FNB, Nedbank, HIP, and SA Homeloans.

We have expertise in the registration of homeloans, notarial bonds, CCMBs and bond cancellations in the retail, private wealth and commercial sector for ABSA, FNB, NEDBANK, Standard Bank and SA Home Loans. Our team also possesses former experience in the financial services and banking sector and have had exposure to financial planning, commercial property finance, home loan securities, conflict resolution, bond administration and quality assurance.
